The Petite Oval Keepsake Pendant offers a beautifully simple way to preserve a meaningful inclusion within jewellery designed for everyday wear.
Its delicate oval keepsake stone is individually handcrafted with care in our Sunbury, Victoria studio using your own treasured inclusion. Cremation ashes, hair, pet fur, dried flowers and other suitable materials can be carefully incorporated, creating a subtle piece whose meaning can remain entirely personal to you.
With its clean stainless steel setting and minimalist oval shape, this pendant is an understated choice for remembrance, motherhood, pet memorials or simply preserving a moment or connection you never want to forget.
Available in gold or rhodium plating, each pendant comes with a matching plated stainless steel dress chain.
Breastmilk can also be preserved within your keepsake. As breastmilk requires an additional preservation and preparation process before your stone can be created, a $40 Breastmilk Preservation & Preparation fee applies.

Your Keepsake Journey
How it Works
- Choose your jewellery design and select your preferred finish, inclusions and personalisation options.
- After ordering, you’ll receive an email explaining how to package and send your inclusions to our Sunbury studio.
- When your inclusions arrive, they are carefully recorded, labelled and stored separately. You’ll receive an email confirming their safe arrival.
- Your keepsake stone is individually handcrafted using your treasured inclusions, then carefully set into your chosen jewellery design.
- Your completed keepsake is inspected, photographed and securely packaged before being sent to you with tracking.
Sending your inclusions
After placing your order, you’ll receive detailed instructions explaining how to safely package and send your inclusions.
Only a very small amount is required—usually 5–10 mL of breastmilk or approximately half a teaspoon of ashes. The amount needed for hair, fur, flowers, fabric and other inclusions will be explained in your email.
We strongly recommend using tracked postage and ask that you never send the last of anything precious. You’ll receive confirmation as soon as your inclusions arrive safely at our studio.

Materials and care
Keepsake Essentials jewellery is crafted using stainless steel, with selected designs available in plated finishes.
Your personalised keepsake stone is handcrafted using resin and should be treated with care. Remove your jewellery before showering, bathing or swimming, and avoid perfumes, lotions, harsh chemicals, excessive heat and prolonged direct sunlight.
Plated finishes may gradually show signs of wear over time depending on use, skin chemistry and exposure to moisture or chemicals.

Shipping is charged separately at checkout. Australian orders are sent with tracking.
Any remaining ashes, hair, fur, fabric or other dry inclusions will be carefully packaged and returned with your completed keepsake.
A small amount of preserved breastmilk is securely retained at our studio. This provides a prepared backup if you would like to order another keepsake in the future or if an approved stone remake is ever required.
For breastmilk keepsakes, a $40 Breastmilk Preservation & Preparation fee applies.
Turnaround and shipping
Keepsake Essentials pieces are made to order. Our current estimated production time is displayed in the banner at the top of our website and is calculated from the date your inclusions arrive at our studio.
Shipping is charged separately at checkout. Completed Australian orders are sent using tracked delivery, and tracking details are provided once your keepsake has been dispatched.
Some sized or less frequently stocked designs may require the setting to be ordered specifically for you. Where this affects the expected turnaround time, this will be noted on the individual product page.
Returns and cancellations
As each keepsake is personalised and made to order using your precious inclusions, change-of-mind returns are not available once preservation or crafting has commenced.
If you need to request a change or cancellation, please contact us as soon as possible after ordering. Once your inclusions have been received and preparation or crafting has begun, your order is considered final.
If there is an issue with your finished jewellery, please contact us within 3 days of delivery so we can assist.
