Shipping Policy — Memories of You Keepsake Jewellery

Processing Times

All keepsake jewellery is handcrafted with care. Our standard processing times are:

  • Custom keepsake jewellery: 8-12 weeks from the date we receive your inclusions (ashes, hair, breastmilk, fabric, etc.)

  • Peak periods (Mother’s Day, Christmas, etc.): Processing times may be extended. Any delays will be communicated on our website or via email.

Processing times do not include shipping time and commence from the time we receive your inclusions.


Shipping Within Australia

We ship from Victoria, Australia using Australia Post.

Available options:

  • Standard Shipping: 3–8 business days

Shipping timeframes are estimates provided by Australia Post and may vary due to carrier delays, weather events, or peak periods.

Once your order has been lodged with Australia Post, you will receive a tracking number via email.


International Shipping

We currently ship to selected international destinations.

  • Delivery times vary by country (typically 7–21 business days).

  • Customs fees, duties, or taxes are the responsibility of the customer.

  • Tracking may be limited depending on the destination.


Shipping of Keepsake Materials (Inclusions)

If your order requires you to send inclusions (ashes, hair, breastmilk, fabric, etc.):

  • You are responsible for safely packaging and posting your inclusions to us.

  • We strongly recommend using tracked postage.

  • Memories of You Keepsake Jewellery is not responsible for inclusions lost or delayed in transit.

  • We recommend that you do not send us the "last" of anything, accidents can happen in transit and inclusions lost or destroyed.

Once received, we will confirm your inclusions have arrived safely.


Order Tracking & Insurance

All parcels include tracking with optional insurance. You can track your order using the link provided in your shipping confirmation email.

If your tracking shows delays or issues, please contact Australia Post first, then reach out to us if further assistance is needed.


Delivery Issues

If your parcel is delayed, lost, or damaged during transit:

  • We will assist you in lodging an investigation with Australia Post.

  • Australia Post investigations may take up to 10 business days.

  • Remedies for lost or damaged parcels are subject to Australia Post’s policies.

Under Australian Consumer Law, you may be entitled to a remedy if we fail to deliver your order within a reasonable time.


Incorrect Shipping Information

Please ensure your shipping address is correct at checkout.

If an incorrect address is provided:

  • We cannot guarantee redirection once the parcel has been lodged.

  • If the parcel is returned to us, reshipping fees will apply.
